Have you heard the saying “TikTok made me buy it!”? Here are some amazing cleaning products that Tik Tok made me buy! Thanks to #cleantok I have discovered some cleaning supplies that make life a little bit easier!
Somehow, I ended up in a rabbit hole of #cleantok, but no regrets! Not only does the TikTok cleaning videos give me inspiration and helpful cleaning tips, it also gives the scoop on the best cleaning supplies. Here are the cleaning supplies I have found to be worth their weight in gold while perusing TikTok!
Scrub Daddy / Scrub Mommy
This might be the original #cleantok buy I ever made! At first, it just appears to be a gimmick, a big yellow smiling face or a big pink smiling face. Sure, scrub daddy and scrub mommy are funny, quirky looking sponges. BUT – they are brilliant and work!! I bought my first Scrub Daddy, and the rest was history.
If you put the scrub daddy (or mommy) in cold water, it will stay firm and tackle the job without scratching things up! If you use it in warm water, it becomes soft and pliable for a little gentler version of cleaning!
I also love that the smiling mouth has a purpose! You can slide your spoons and silverware right into it’s mouth to help with the cleaning!
The Pink Stuff
This cute pink paste in a jar supposedly cuts down on elbow grease! I have found that it does seem to do just that. I particularly liked mine for cleaning the inside of my oven and scrubbing down my bathtub.
I’ll say, I found that there is more than just the paste in The Pink Stuff brand lineup, and I really liked their all purpose spray for my countertops! I also like their bathroom foaming cleaner as well!
Bar Keeper’s Friend
To be honest, I actually knew about this way before TikTok thanks to a friend of mine who cleans houses for a living. She swore by this product, so I had already fallen in love with it after I tried it out! This works wonders on all kinds of surfaces. The biggest surprise with this is any rusted or discolored pots/pans can be transformed with this!
Baking Soda
Speaking of things I already knew about, baking soda is of course tried and true. Baking soda does a multitude of things, and I’ve used it plenty of times, but sometimes you need a reminder that you shouldn’t stop using a good thing. Don’t fix what’s not broken!
Baking soda is amazing for all odors. You can put an open box of baking soda in your refrigerator to soak up smells. It also works amazing for drains that might stink.
It also is amazing for laundry! (Have you seen the laundry stripping tiktoks?) You don’t need to just use it for laundry stripping, it works great to add to your washing machine.
I love this baking soda pouch because it’s resealable.

Vinegar
Staying with the things I already knew, but needed a nice reminder to use, is vinegar! Vinegar is truly a magical solution – sure to have been developed somewhere in Hogwarts.
My favorite thing to do with vinegar is to get a microfiber cloth wet with vinegar and let it sit around the bathroom sink faucet for about 10-15 minutes to get the hard water and lime buildup to go away. You can also put it in a baggie and put it over the faucet with a rubber band. That’s where the magic is.
The O-Cedar Easy Wring Microfiber Spin Mop
This mop is all over TikTok, and for good reason! It can get into tighter, smaller spaces while giving a deeper clean. This mop has a mechanism to wring it out, make it less work for you!
The Rubbermaid Power Scrubber
The Rubbermaid Power Scrubber is like a fancy cleaning toothbrush! Hah! It works wonders though, and I tend to pull it out for everything!
Bissell Little Green Vacuum
This. This Bissell Little Green machine is magic. My son had spilled something on our couch – it was dark, thick, and sticky. It actually almost looked like rubbed in bubble gum. We weren’t really sure. This vacuum cleaned it right out!
I am currently working on cleaning an antique couch, and it’s proving to be quite a job, but it’s amazing the progress I’ve made on it so far with this amazing little machine.
Reusable Swedish Dishcloths
This also cuts down on waste, but also let’s talk about costs too! Paper towels are VERY expensive these days, so save your wallet! TikTokers say that it can replace up to 15 rolls of paper towels! It’s a win-win here.
