Yes, there is a Santa Claus!

November is here, and it’s time for the kids to start writing their letters to Santa.  The USPS has a Letters from Santa program! Check it out to see how to send your child’s letter to Santa and when it should be sent.

A letter to Santa starts the excitement of Christmas for your child!  For the older children, it also can be the start of practicing their handwriting and learning how to send a letter.  I also find it helps give Santa hints of what to buy your child!!  *wink wink*

I suggest that you write a letter to Santa shortly after Thanksgiving.  Once Santa ends that Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Parade, I feel like Christmas is officially here!

Here is a free fun printable to help your child out.  They can checkmark if they have been naughty or nice.  (Quick sidebar: my son had a shirt that had this on it when he was three, and it was check marked naughty.  He proved the shirt right, as he used scissors at daycare to cut multiple holes in his shirt!)

The printable is likely to be a hit because when I showed to it my 9-year-old (yes, he still believes, and frankly so do I), he said: “I need you to print that out for me!”

I hope this printable makes the letter writing even more fun!  If you use it, I’d love to see pictures of the finished products or your child using it!  If you use Instagram you can #mandajblog!

Well, as a 27-year-old adult, not sure if Santa wants to hear from me, but I’m definitely gonna send in my letter. Maybe, I’ll use the printable shared 😉
